Film details & posters
If provider artwork is unavailable, a reviewed poster may be used for an exact film match. The Lady Blue Shanghai promotional poster comes from EXPO Fashion Magazine’s article on fashion films.
We use each film’s IMDb reference to find its matching record on TMDB. Film details, posters and fallback credit checks come from that confirmed match. Film information is cached for up to 150 days, then refreshed when viewed.
This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB. FRAME is non-commercial.
Poster artwork belongs to its respective rights holders.
Catalog & credit references
Our collection includes Hollywood films, Academy Award winners, and selected international films. Films in their initial theatrical run are excluded. Rereleases are listed under the original film. Release reviews currently use the US market.
Curated titles, release years and discovery categories stay consistent across our discussions. Stored catalog information remains available when a confirmed TMDB match is missing. Film information may be incomplete or contain errors.
Film credit checks begin with the TMDB 5000 Credits dataset on Kaggle, version 1, under the Open Database License and Database Contents License. Download our film-credit reference.
We also consult Wikidata for supported film credits and their cited sources. Repeated database information is not independent evidence. Missing records do not disqualify a filmmaker.
Verification requires review of an original production, distributor, festival, guild or screen-credit source and a separate identity confirmation. A matching credit does not prove who owns an account or approve a badge automatically.
