You choose whether to publish a profile and allow optional measurement. Saved writing and followed people stay private. Manage these choices, download your data or close your account in Settings.
FRAME’s site owner handles privacy and account requests at support@in2cloudsolutions.com. Include relevant page links when requesting correction or removal of personal information. You can contact us even after deleting your account.
You can play the daily frame quiz without an account. This browser keeps up to 370 days of film guesses and results in local storage to restore your round and calculate your streak. Checking a guess sends the day and film identifiers to FRAME; this feature does not store anonymous rounds in the discussion database. Anonymous saved picks keep up to 2,000 film identifiers on this browser. They are separate from signed-in favorites and do not transfer automatically into an account. Clearing FRAME’s site data removes these browser records. Signed-in saves use your existing private film favorites. Sharing a quiz result includes the date, score, streak and game link, without the film title, image or guesses.
FRAME accounts are for people aged 18 or older. The age screen processes your declared date of birth to calculate eligibility and does not save it, show it publicly, or send it to the sign-in provider. FRAME keeps an account-linked eligibility result, checking method, policy version and confirmation time. This declaration does not verify your identity or age through documents.
An essential, HTTP-only cookie holds a random age-screen token for up to 24 hours. The database stores its hash, result and timestamps; expired records are removed during later checks or maintenance. This helps prevent immediate retries with a different date, but cannot establish a person’s identity. Account restrictions and moderation decisions handle underage reports and mistakes. Export and deletion remain available; deleting an account removes its eligibility record, with limited moderation records retained as described below. Contact the operator about a child’s information or an incorrect restriction. Do not email birth dates or identity documents.
Recovery requires fresh age confirmation and does not reinstate age-screen tokens. Full recovery preserves current age restrictions.
Your sign-in identity connects your profile, contributions, votes, favorite films, followed discussions and requests. Favorite films are private to your account; FRAME stores the film identifier and date saved until you remove the favorite or delete your account. FRAME receives an account identifier, email and optional name from the sign-in provider. Display names and visible contributions are shown to visitors who can access the site. Reports, verification evidence, suspension appeals and decisions are restricted to the relevant account and moderator.
Short-lived account-based action counters prevent flooding. Suspension records and moderation history support review, appeals and accountability. These safety records are separate from analytics. Active-account content stays until removed, moderated or handled through account deletion.
FRAME uses your questions, followed discussions and favorite films to show relevant discussion activity. It keeps a read timestamp for each discussion you mark as read, your choices about reply and followed-discussion updates, and whether you have completed or skipped the optional introduction. These account features are separate from aggregate usage analytics. They remain until changed or your account is deleted.
Optional reply emails are off by default. When delivery is available, you can choose a daily or weekly digest sent to your authenticated account email address. FRAME stores that address, your frequency choice, an unsubscribe token and delivery timestamps. Resend processes the recipient address and email to deliver these notifications. Digests contain a spoiler-free update notice and a link back to FRAME; they do not email private filmmaker messages. Open and click tracking must be disabled before delivery is enabled.
You can turn email off in your notification settings or use the unsubscribe option in any digest without signing in. A link opened in a browser shows a confirmation page; an email client's one-click unsubscribe request turns emails off directly. FRAME checks current preferences before sending. A message already handed to the email provider may still arrive. Delivery records support safe retries; account downloads include delivery dates and status, but not stored message payloads or unsubscribe tokens.
After a successful send, FRAME clears the queued email text and recipient copy. Sent delivery dates and status are removed after 90 days during enabled delivery maintenance; maintenance interruptions can delay removal. An unresolved send can retain its queued email until reviewed, notification choices change, you unsubscribe or the account is deleted. Provider delivery records follow Resend's separate retention policies.
Your chosen display name appears beside new discussions. Names are checked for uniqueness and explicit language. Case, accents, spacing and punctuation do not distinguish name ownership. Signup names are reserved for 24 hours while email verification is pending; expired reservations are removed during subsequent account activity or name requests. Previous confirmed names remain reserved to your account to prevent impersonation. Your data download includes these names, and account deletion releases them. A display name is not a verified identity or film credit.
When email accounts are enabled, Supabase processes your email address, password credentials and authentication security records. FRAME does not store your password in its discussion database or include credentials in exports. Essential sign-in cookies maintain your session. FRAME records a session identifier and expiration to enforce sign-out; sessions last at most 30 days, and expired records are removed during subsequent account activity. Session records are excluded from discussion backups. Resend delivers verification and password-reset emails and processes recipient addresses and delivery records. These are transactional emails, not marketing. Deleting an email account removes its Supabase sign-in record as well as FRAME profile data. If provider removal is interrupted, FRAME keeps the account closed and offers a retry. Provider security logs and backups follow separate retention policies.
Separate account-linked measurement is off by default. You may enable it in your profile. With your consent, FRAME records your account identifier, the UTC day you opted in, and UTC days of broad actions: visiting FRAME, revealing an interpretation, saving a film, following a discussion, asking a question, posting an interpretation, or marking a contribution helpful. Each action category is recorded at most once per account per day. No film or post identifiers, content, search terms, page URLs, email addresses or precise action times are included. Actions taken before consent are not backfilled.
Moderators see aggregate participation and day 1, 7 and 30 return rates among members who opted in. Your browser’s Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal prevents enrollment and pauses new collection. Turning the choice off deletes your consent and measurement records. Deleting your account also removes them. Measurement records older than 90 days are excluded from reports and account downloads and removed during subsequent measurement writes; a pause in activity may delay physical removal. Consent remains until you turn it off or delete your account. These records and consent are excluded from application recovery copies, so recovery cannot silently turn measurement back on.
FRAME offers an optional choice to measure confirmed signups from its Reddit campaign. FRAME-only measurement keeps these counts inside FRAME. Nothing is recorded for this measurement before you choose to allow it. A first-party, HTTP-only cookie remembers the campaign and your consent time for up to 30 days. If you then create an account, FRAME keeps an account-linked record of the campaign, pending or confirmed signup status, and dates. Your email must be confirmed in the same browser for the signup to count. These counts cover consenting campaign visitors and may undercount people who join; declining never affects signup or use of FRAME.
Reddit reporting requires a separate, explicit choice. If the campaign link contains a Reddit ad click ID, this choice lets FRAME remember that ID in an HTTP-only cookie for up to 30 days and send a confirmed signup to Reddit through its Conversions API. The event contains the ad click ID, confirmation time and a random conversion identifier. FRAME does not send your email, phone number, IP address, browser user agent, form contents, film activity or authentication URLs. Reddit receives the request from FRAME’s server and processes the event under its own privacy and retention policies. FRAME does not load the Reddit Pixel. Earlier FRAME-only measurement records are never backfilled to Reddit.
These choices are separate from optional return-visit measurement. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control prevent enrollment and pause new collection. You can stop Reddit reporting in Privacy or profile Settings while keeping FRAME-only measurement, or turn off campaign measurement entirely. Withdrawal clears the relevant browser cookie and cancels future sends associated with that consent; it also removes the relevant signed-in account record from FRAME. A request already sent to Reddit cannot be recalled by this control. For data already shared, see Reddit’s privacy policy and choices ↗.
Before signing in, turning off FRAME-only measurement cannot identify a pending first-party account record, but that record cannot become a counted signup without the consent cookie. FRAME records are excluded from reports after 30 days and physically removed during subsequent signup or consent checks or maintenance; interrupted activity can delay removal. Account deletion removes its FRAME campaign records and pending reporting. These records are excluded from application recovery copies.
FRAME counts signed-in page views by UTC day and broad page type. These aggregate page-view counts do not store visitor identifiers, IP addresses, film titles, search terms, referrers or browsing histories. These counts use no advertising cookies or third-party analytics; the separate optional campaign measurement and Reddit reporting choices are described above. Counts older than 90 days are removed when new activity is recorded. The client and server respect Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. Hosting and sign-in services have their own technical data practices.
Verified filmmakers can send private message requests to verified colleagues on the same film. The recipient accepts before the conversation continues. You can decline a request or block a conversation. Your professional name, message text, film and time sent are visible to the sender and recipient. Unread notifications stay inside FRAME; messages are not emailed or end-to-end encrypted. They are stored in the FRAME database. Moderators cannot read other members’ messages through FRAME, including recovery downloads. Private messages and conversation records are excluded from application recovery copies and cannot be restored from those copies. Direct infrastructure or database access is outside this application-level restriction. Deleting either participant’s account removes these messages from the active database; downloaded copies and backups may remain under the retention rules below.
FRAME checks the professional name, film and role against the Kaggle TMDB 5000 Credits dataset first. If no reliable match is found, FRAME checks TMDB using film identifiers; FRAME account details and identity evidence are not sent to TMDB. The check result, source, time, professional-page code and moderator’s identity confirmation are kept with your verification request. A database match alone never grants a badge or messaging access. You may remove the temporary code after your review is complete.
Your question and interpretation drafts are saved privately to your account, including scene details, source links and an optional image, until you publish or discard them. Successful publication clears the matching saved draft. Empty revision records prevent an older tab from restoring discarded writing. Your interpretation bookmarks and people-following list are private. Saved interpretations are checked against current visibility, so hidden or removed content is not restored through bookmarks.
A public profile is optional and starts off. You explicitly publish your display name and your bio, together with your existing visible questions and interpretations. Anyone who can access FRAME can read the profile and follow your public contributions. Drafts, bookmarks, favorite films, email addresses and follow lists never appear on it. Making the profile private removes its public links and incoming follows; discussion posts remain visible. Film-credit verification remains specific to each film and contribution.
To vary favorite-film dialogue, this browser remembers the last displayed quote for each film in local storage. This preference stays on your device and can be cleared with browser site data.
An optional uploaded image stays private with its question draft until publication. Your browser resizes and compresses the image before uploading; FRAME saves only the optimized copy, at most 1,600 pixels on its longest side and 512 KB. Published images appear within the discussion’s spoiler controls. Moderators can review reported images; hiding a question also hides its image. Uploads are stored with their description and credit. Unused uploads become eligible for cleanup after 24 hours; images referenced by saved drafts are kept. Deleting your account immediately disables access to your uploaded images, and scheduled maintenance removes the stored files. Interrupted maintenance can delay physical removal.
Your data download includes image details and download links, not the image files themselves. Save the files before deleting your account. Application recovery copies contain published image references, not image files or private draft images; recovery preserves current image removals.
Your theme is stored with your account when signed in. A functional cookie remembers your selected theme on this browser for up to one year. It contains only a theme name and is not used for tracking. Clearing site data removes the browser choice; deleting your account removes the account preference.
A separate session cookie remembers only the last homepage image name so your next visit can show a different image. Explore Films uses a session cookie to keep its headline steady while you browse and a one-year cookie containing only the previous headline number to choose a different one next time. These cookies are not linked to your account or used for tracking.
In My Profile, choose Download my data for a JSON file of your own profile, public-profile settings, writing drafts, interpretation bookmarks, followed people, contributions, votes, follows, favorite films, discussion read timestamps, notification, introduction and theme preferences, email delivery dates and status, requests, verification records, sent and received colleague messages and review decisions. It does not include other people’s private reports, account records, sign-in credentials or unsubscribe tokens. Downloads may reflect changes made while they are being assembled. Keep the file private.
Deletion removes your profile, public profile, uploaded discussion images, private drafts, bookmarks, incoming and outgoing people follows, votes, discussion follows, favorite films, discussion read timestamps, notification and introduction preferences, optional measurement consent and records, email delivery records, verification evidence, creator attribution and private requests. It also removes your digest email address and unsubscribe token and prevents new digest requests. Questions and answers keep their existing links and appear under “Deleted member”; supporting links and creator badges are removed. You can also choose to replace all your post text with removal notices. Other people’s replies and quotations remain.
Removing your display name alone does not remove identifying information inside a post. Use the text-removal option or contact the operator with the relevant URLs. A minimal closure record containing your FRAME sign-in identifier and deletion date prevents accidental account recreation; it is not used for advertising or to restore your profile. Contact the operator about that record or any further deletion request.
Limited suspension, appeal and review-decision records, together with the private link between your account and retained posts, are kept for 90 days to handle follow-up requests and disputes. Expired records are excluded from account downloads and removed during subsequent signed-in site activity. Ordinary sign-in does not restore a deleted account. The sole moderator must arrange an operator handover before deleting their account.
FRAME stores private recovery copies for seven days; expired copies are deleted during successful scheduled maintenance. If maintenance is interrupted, deletion can be delayed. Moderator downloads must also be stored securely and removed within seven days. Hosting-provider backups and technical logs have separate retention practices that FRAME has not yet verified. Account deletion does not erase those copies instantly. Recovery requires a fresh copy of current account-closure information so deleted profiles and removed post text are not restored.
Application recovery copies include discussion read timestamps and in-app notification and introduction choices. They exclude digest recipient addresses, unsubscribe tokens, email opt-ins, delivery records, and optional measurement consent and records. Writing drafts, interpretation bookmarks, public profile settings and people follows are also excluded from application recovery copies; a recovered database starts without them and never republishes a profile automatically. Recovery preserves current in-app choices and turns digest emails off; you must opt in again after a recovery.
Operational monitoring uses aggregate queue counts, provider request and failure counts, and backup status. These summaries can produce alerts for the operator; they do not include discussion bodies, reporter names, or private verification evidence.
Your optional public portfolio includes the practice, school, program, location, availability, organization and website you choose to share. Eligible account holders choose when to publish their work, without prior moderator approval. Public projects appear in collections; unlisted projects are accessible to anyone with their link. Keep private or embargoed work in draft. Viewing links lead to the creator’s external hosting service.
Making your public profile private returns studio work to draft, hides guest sessions, removes incoming talent shortlists and turns new introductions off. Publishing the profile again does not republish its previous work automatically. School, organization and project-contribution verification evidence is visible only to its applicant and moderators. Badges describe the specific claim checked.
Emerging and Verified Filmmakers can opt in to receiving individual work invitations. Verified Filmmakers may separately opt in to a minimal reviewer card with a chosen name, craft, interests and accepted formats. This does not publish their public profile or verification evidence. The signed-in reviewer directory excludes members who have not opted in or are not currently verified. An optional, revocable private contact code lets a reviewer receive named invitations without appearing in the directory; the code never grants access to work. An invitation shares the owner’s display name, work title and optional note; accepting it unlocks the latest saved work. The owner chooses viewing or private-feedback access and can revoke it. Feedback is visible only to that invitation’s owner and recipient. Other recipients and ordinary moderator access cannot read that thread.
Blocking a filmmaker closes all their work invitations. Turning invitation opt-in off stops new invitations and leaves existing access unchanged. New work defaults to private invitations for currently Verified Filmmakers. Choosing Only me revokes invitations; choosing private verified review withdraws public publication. Public publication requires a separate audience choice. Existing work retains its previous audience until its owner changes it. Private feedback does not become public when work is published. Reviewer access is checked against current verification, including after acceptance. External video links follow the video host’s access rules. Account deletion removes related invitations and feedback; your data download includes invitations, preferences and feedback you wrote. Encrypted full database recovery disables restored sharing access, reviewer discovery and contact codes until new consent is obtained.
Talent shortlists and notes are private. Introduction requests disclose the sender’s public profile and opportunity details to the recipient; messages open only after acceptance. Only participants can read the conversation. A report gives moderators the reported item and your explanation, not access to the rest of a private conversation. Report decisions appear in My Studio. Guest invitations stay private until the guest confirms and a moderator publishes. Followed sessions are listed in My Studio; email reminders are not active.
Your account download includes your studio records. Deleting your account removes your portfolio, original work, studio contributions, guest sessions, introductions and private messages, plus copies of those messages in reports. Studio records are excluded from application recovery exports. Moderators can see aggregate counts of published work, visible questions, maker replies, portfolio saves and accepted introductions; these counts do not reveal private shortlist notes or messages.
FRAME uses Cloudflare hosting and storage, Supabase for accounts, Resend for authentication email, TMDB for film details and posters, and Watchmode for viewing availability. TMDB lookups use film identifiers, never your account or identity evidence. Film details and posters are cached for up to 150 days; viewing listings refresh after 24 hours when viewed. Outside links take you to services with their own privacy practices; your FRAME account download does not include their separate account records. FRAME offers the optional first-party campaign measurement and separately consented Reddit reporting described above. FRAME does not sell your profile through this application.
